Getting Some Work Done

As a junior barrister I was astonished at the lawyers who went in to work on a sunday. What sane human being would do this? But of course, as professionals claim the greasy pole, they become the victims of their own success. Work accumulates, and responsibility, and before you know it Sunday afternoons are the only chance you have to get any work done.

Pity the lawyer who loves working on sundays because the phone doesn't ring.
