Queen's Counsel, Encounters and the ICLR

Queen's Counsel, Encounters and the ICLR

In December last year I was invited by the ICLR, who do the official law reports, to come and talk at the Law Society in London alongside legal authors Tim Kevan and Gary Slapper.

Naturally I accepted; Tim is a good friend, and he always makes me laugh, so I figured at the very least I would enjoy the evening. And Gary and I are old kumrads, having both been published in the law pages of The Times for the best part of 20 years.

The ICLR kindly taped the evening and uploaded an edited version to YouTube. Here is a short section where I talk about Queen's Counsel and how it came about. It runs about 7 minutes.
