Vive Charlie Hebdo

Vive Charlie Hebdo

Cartoonists aren't used to being murder victims. Queen's Counsel generally just pokes fun at lawyers, who rarely resort to violence as a means of getting their own back. Libel laws, yes, assault rifles, no. Yesterday's message in Paris was a clear message to all cartoonists. Poke fun at religion, and certain religions in particular, and you will die.  Today we stand with our colleagues in Paris and say - enough. It is time for all of us to stand up for freedom of speech and the right to offend. Vive La France. Vive Charlie Hebdo.
